Installation & Jobsite Use

How long does it take to install slats?

For a standard 6’ tube slat, it takes about 20–30 minutes per 10-foot section.

Do I need special tools or crews for installation?

No tools or special equipment are required.

Can one person install slats, or is a crew recommended?

Slats can be installed by one person, though a crew will significantly speed up installation.

Are your slats pre-cut for standard fence heights?

Yes. We have heights from 3’-12’.

Can slats be installed on existing fences?

Our hand inserted slats are designed to be installed into an existing fence. Our pre-woven options combine the chain link and the slats, so you’d need to tear down the existing chain link.

Commercial Projects & Specs

Do you provide product specifications and submittal packages?

Product specifications are available in each product brochure.

Are your products used on government or public works projects?

Yes—our products are used on a wide range of commercial and public works projects.

Can you support large multi-phase projects?

Yes. Just let us know what you need, when you need it.

Can you help match an existing spec or product?

We will match existing products to the best of our ability. If we don’t have an exact match, we will find a comparable slat for your job.

Performance & Durability

How long do your slats last?

Our slats are backed by a 30-year limited warranty.

Are your products UV resistant or fade resistant?

Yes—our products are UV-stabilized for long-term color retention.

How do slats perform in high wind areas?

Slats add wind load to a fence system. For high-wind areas—especially with Solitube or MaxLink—we recommend appropriate post sizing and spacing.

How do your slats compare to privacy screens or other options?

Slats provide a long-term, low-maintenance solution compared to privacy screens, which typically require more frequent replacement.

How quickly can you fulfill large orders?

Most orders ship the same or next business day.
